As Paraorchestra’s touring work and artist development programme continues to grow in scope and ambition, so does our need for creative and skilled individuals to help tell our story. That’s why we’re recruiting for two brand new positions within Paraorchestra’s marketing and communications team. Read on for more information and details on how to apply. Marketing Manager Salary: £32,500 Contract: Full-time, permanent Location: Bristol/ Hybrid Deadline for applications:  10am Monday 29 April Paraorchestra seek a confident, experienced, and versatile arts marketer to deliver marketing and communications for all Paraorchestra projects, tours, and digital output. Although we are Bristol-based, you will be required to travel to and work onsite at rehearsals and performances in other locations across the UK. The role suits a creative thinker who will be responsible for maximising opportunities to articulate and share Paraorchestra’s unique stories through a variety of mediums. You should be audience-focussed, curating and creating engaging content that incites new and existing audiences, and be comfortable creating and managing project briefs that consider the wider project / organisational objectives. You will have a passion for and understanding of social media and its power for storytelling and brand engagement, and the ability to lead confidently on all Paraorchestra channels. Strong experience of marketing touring productions/projects and/or venue marketing experience is essential, along with creating and executing targeted campaigns, and excellent written word. You will be one of two Marketing Managers, each of whom will lead on separate marketing campaigns and projects, and will be supported by a Marketing Assistant. Download the job pack for information on how to apply: Download the Marketing Manager job pack in Word format Download the Marketing Manager job pack in PDF format Marketing Assistant Salary: £24,000 pro rata Contract: Part-time three days per week, permanent Location: Bristol/ Hybrid Deadline for applications:  10am Monday 29 April We seek a highly organised and proactive Marketing Assistant to support the delivery of marketing and communications for all Paraorchestra artistic projects and our artist development programme. Although predominantly task-led, you can also expect to work across many areas of the organisation’s output including supporting during rehearsals and performances (in Bristol and at locations across the UK); content creation; and liaising with venue marketing teams. A key element of this role is to provide day to day, time-sensitive admin support for the Head of Communications and Marketing Managers, for which you should be highly organised, have good attention to detail, with a passion for systems and processes. You should be adept at all things digital with a strong grasp of Microsoft Office, and excellent writing skills. Although preferable, you do not need to have worked in the arts before. A passion for and readiness to learn about the industry is essential, along with demonstrable strong administrative experience.
