Uganda Baati taps Airtel Uganda’s Mukula Milton George to head trade marketing – CEO East Africa

Mukula Milton George has been appointed Trade Marketing Manager for Uganda Baati Limited, a member of the SAFAL Group effective 04th August 2022. He will be in charge of developing and executing a robust Trade Marketing Strategy for Uganda and the export markets focusing mainly on DRC and Southern Sudan.

He comes with a wealth of experience of over 16years in both FMCG and Telecommunication Industries and solid skills in Trade Marketing, Corporate Communication, Innovations Commercialization, Brand Management, Distributor Management, Sales Force Leadership& Motivation, Promotion &Events Execution.

Up to 02nd August, he was working at Airtel Uganda Ltd as the Kampala CBD Territory Business Manager. Before that, Milton was the Cycle Planning & activations Manager at Uganda Breweries Limited in the Customer Marketing Department a role he did for 4years and had held other positions of responsibility across the country in the same organisation for 9years. His professional career started in Bidco Oils Ltd where he was Area Sales Incharge in 2005.

Milton is a qualified marketing professional and holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Professional Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing-UK; a Master Of Business Administration (Marketing) and a Bachelor Of Business Administration (Marketing) both from Uganda Christian University. He also holds a Diploma In Business Studies from Makerere University Business School.
